Starting from December 3rd last year, Alex von Furstenberg, a business investor and charity supporter, has since been the director of InterActiveCorp (IAC). IAC is an online-based company that has four divisions: Match, Media and Advertising, Emerging Businesses, and ServiceMagic. The chief executive officer and chairman of IAC is Barry Diller, von Furstenberg’s stepfather.

Alex von Furstenberg is as well one of the Board of directors at W.P. Stewart and Company Ltd., a global investment consultant serving equity portfolio administration assistances based in Bermuda. The man behind the founding of Arrow Capital Management LLC, he also acts as the company’s chief investment officer and co-managing member. Arrow Capital, formed in 2003, is known for being a privately-owned investment business that aims in global public equities.

Additionally, he has been the private investment firm Arrow Investments Inc’s chief investment officer for seven years. At Diane von Furstenberg LP, a company that is named after Alex von Furstenberg’s mother, he functions as its director and partner.

Aside from performing well in his business ventures, von Furstenberg does philanthropy work. He currently takes part as the director of The Diller – von Furstenberg Family Foundation, an organization that assists and promotes the youth, education, the environment, and human rights. He is also a member of the board of the Friends of the High Line, a group that supports the maintenance of High Line park.
