Knowing which prescription lens type you require is just one of the things you need to know before purchasing prescription glasses online. Progressive lenses have other benefits as well. With progressive lenses, or no-line bifocals, you feel a smooth transition when you move your eyes from objects in the distance to objects close up. With a lined bifocal, the transition between the two different viewing areas can be noticeable and somewhat jarring.
